Paediatric & First Aid for Schools courses
Paediatric & First Aid Courses for Schools
First Aid qualifications are a legal requirement within the school environment but Quantum First Aid Training look beyond legalities acknowledging that simple first aid skills could potentially save a life, and anyone with a duty of care over children needs to know the basics. Staff includes teachers, classroom assistants, kitchen staff and playground supervisors. Because a school is a place of work there should be staff trained in Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) capable of administering lifesaving first aid to adults on site. If your school engages in offsite school trips and visits you may well benefit from our Outdoor First Aid training which includes Epipen training for key staff. Please feel free to contact us re possible courses to ensure all your needs are catered for, we can discuss the possibility of course combinations and any additional training to meet the above criteria. Further guidance covering First aid for Schools is provided by the Department for Education and Employment (DfEE). All our trainers are qualified teachers with further experiences in the sport and outdoor environment.
