Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course

Quantum First Aid Training deliver the 6-hour Emergency First Aid at Work course at our training facility or at your chosen venue if you have 4 or more people to be trained and it is practical to do so.

Course Content:

First Aid legal requirements
First Aid Kits: contents and use of
Vital signs including: Level of Consciousness, Pulse, Breathing, Temperature and Colour
Primary Survey: (DR ABC)
Recovery Position: to include variations
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Familiarisation and use of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
Choking
Blood Loss
Shock
Medical Emergencies: heart attack, seizures
Minor Injuries: burns, splinters, tick bites, bruising
